When you register, create a storefront, or browse Reseller Bazzar, we collect the minimum information required to operate a secure B2B/B2C marketplace:

• Identity & Account Details: Mobile phone number (verified via OTP), first and last name, email address, and encrypted authentication tokens.
• Business & Listing Profile: Business name, operational role (Manufacturer, Wholesaler, Distributor, Reseller, Retailer), primary category, city, state, address, GSTIN (optional), and catalog photographs.
• Communication & Inquiries: Messages exchanged in our direct chat system, buyer requirement descriptions (RFQs), saved search alerts, and wishlist selections.
• Device & Network Telemetry: IP address, browser type, operating system, and anonymous analytics to protect the platform against fraud and spam.

We process personal and business data strictly to fulfill our core services:

• Publishing and displaying your storefront and products to interested buyers across India.
• Facilitating direct communication between buyers and sellers through phone, chat, and quotation requests.
• Delivering automated digests for saved search alerts and notifications for incoming buyer inquiries.
• Preventing unauthorized activity, counterfeit listings, and abusive behavior under our Terms of Use.
• Fulfilling statutory obligations under Indian tax, corporate, and electronic intermediary regulations.

Reseller Bazzar is a discovery platform. When you post a business listing or product ad, your public business profile (storefront name, city, category, catalog) is made discoverable to users across the web.

• Buyer-Seller Direct Connection: When an inquiry is made, relevant contact information is shared directly between the two transacting parties.
• Service Providers: We employ trusted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, transactional SMS gateways for OTP verification, Razorpay for optional subscription payments) under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal & Law Enforcement: We disclose records only when compelled by valid legal orders issued by competent courts or law enforcement agencies under Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000.

All personal information and communication logs are stored on secure cloud servers with role-based access control and SSL/TLS encryption in transit. Images and catalog files are compressed into efficient WebP formats and served via secure content delivery networks.

Account data is retained for the lifetime of your active profile. If you choose to close your account, non-essential data is removed within 30 days, except records required to be preserved under statutory accounting and legal audit mandates.

As a data principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a summary of your personal data processed by the platform.
• Correction: Update or modify inaccurate personal and business information via your profile settings.
• Erasure: Request the deletion of your account and personal data where ongoing processing is no longer required.
