Listing Optimization Guide

Want to sell your items faster? A great listing makes all the difference. Follow these expert tips to optimize your ads, attract more buyers, and close deals quickly.

1. Write a Click-Worthy Title

Your title is the first thing buyers see. Make it clear and descriptive.

✅ Good Title:

"iPhone 13 Pro Max - 256GB - Sierra Blue - Excellent Condition - 1 Year Old"

❌ Bad Title:

"iPhone for sale" (Too vague)

Tip: Include Brand + Model + Key Feature + Condition.

2. Take High-Quality Photos

Buyers want to see what they are buying. Good photos build trust.

  • Lighting: Use natural daylight. Avoid dark rooms or heavy flash.
  • Angles: Take photos from the front, back, sides, and show any accessories.
  • Clean Background: Place your item on a clean table or plain background.
  • Show Defects: Be honest! If there’s a scratch, show it. Transparency prevents returns.

3. Set a Competitive Price

Research what similar items are selling for on Reseller Bazzar.

  • Fair Market Value: Don't overprice. A slightly lower price can attract significantly more buyers.
  • Room for Negotiation: Set your price slightly higher than your minimum acceptable price to allow for bargaining.

4. Write a Detailed Description

Answer potential questions before they are asked.

Include:
  • Age of the item (When was it bought?)
  • Reason for selling
  • Included accessories (Charger, Box, Bill?)
  • Warranty status

5. Use the AI Price Suggestion (New in 2026)

When you fill in category, brand and city on the Add Product form, Reseller Bazzar shows you a live price range based on similar active listings — the minimum, the median and the maximum, plus a recommended P25–P75 range. Listings priced within that suggested range get up to 3× more enquiries.

6. Reply Fast — Use In-App Chat

Buyers who don't hear back within 2 hours move on. Open the new in-app Messages section, use the templated quick-reply chips ("Available?", "Best price?", "Share photos"), and convert enquiries to deals in minutes — not days.

7. Win RFQs in Your Category

When a buyer posts a Request for Quote in your category and city, you get an email alert. The first three sellers to respond with a competitive quote win the deal ~70% of the time. Open the RFQ from your dashboard, submit a price + delivery days, and add a short note explaining why you're the right seller.

Summary checklist for Success:

  • ✅ Title includes Brand, Model, Key Feature and City
  • ✅ At least 4-5 clear photos with the hero shot first
  • ✅ Price within the AI-suggested P25–P75 range
  • ✅ Description details condition, accessories and warranty
  • ✅ Respond to every enquiry within 2 hours via in-app chat
  • ✅ Check the RFQ inbox daily and quote on relevant requests
  • ✅ Mark leads on the Sales Pipeline as Contacted / Negotiating / Won / Lost

Listing optimization — FAQs

What makes a high-converting product title?
Specificity. Include brand, model, condition, and city. Avoid vague titles like 'Mobile for sale'.
How many photos should I upload?
Between 4 and 10. Fewer than 4 looks under-prepared; more than 10 dilutes attention on the strongest images.
Does the listing price affect ranking?
Not directly, but listings priced competitively get more inquiries, which improves engagement signals and ranking over time.
How often should I update my listings?
Every 2 weeks. A small edit — adjusting price, refining the description, or replacing a photo — keeps your listing visible.
