Image License & Usage Policy

Photographs you upload — whether through the Add-Product form, the Bulk Upload (CSV) tool, or your business storefront — remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your images.

By uploading an image, you grant Reseller Bazzar a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable licence to:

• Host, store, copy, compress (we convert to WebP at 70% quality), resize and cache the image.
• Display the image on listing pages, search results, category pages, sliders, business storefronts, and our mobile site.
• Use the image in transactional emails (lead notifications, RFQ alerts, saved-search digests) and in the Reseller Bazzar admin dashboard.
• Use the image in non-paid social-media posts and marketing materials that reference Reseller Bazzar; you may revoke this sub-licence in writing.

The licence terminates when you delete the corresponding listing or your account, except where the image has been incorporated into a buyer's archived conversation or an admin audit log, in which case it is retained only for the legally required period.

When you upload an image you warrant that:

• You own the copyright, or have all rights/permissions from the photographer or licensor to grant the licence above.
• If the image features identifiable individuals, you have their consent for commercial display.
• The image is a genuine, unaltered photograph of the product you are listing — no AI-generated misrepresentation, no stock photo passed off as your own item.
• The image does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, design right or right of publicity.

• Watermarked photos taken from competing marketplaces or e-commerce sites without licence.
• Stock images falsely representing your own inventory.
• Photographs containing nudity, violence, hateful symbols, or content that violates the IT Rules 2021.
• Photographs of prohibited goods listed in our Terms.
• Misleading composite or AI-generated images that materially misrepresent the product.

• Max upload size: 20 MB per image.
• Accepted formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, TIFF.
• Recommended dimensions: minimum 800 px on the longest side, 4:3 or square aspect ratio.
• Listings allow up to 20 images.
• We automatically convert uploads to WebP for faster delivery.

If you are the rights-holder of an image used without permission, please file a take-down notice via our Copyright Disclaimer page. We will remove infringing images within 36 hours of a valid notice.

We act as an intermediary under Section 79 of the IT Act. We do not pre-screen seller-uploaded images. Sellers are solely responsible for the images they upload, and they indemnify Reseller Bazzar against any third-party claim arising from those images.
